Privacy Policy

Privacy and this website

Rent-Vehicles.uk.com provides information about car, van, minibus and truck hire. This policy explains the information associated with visiting the website and contacting the hire service. For a privacy question, call 020 7099 5542.

Information you provide

This website does not provide customer accounts, online payments, comments or an enquiry form. If you call about a hire, the information needed to discuss or arrange it may include your contact details, dates, delivery and collection addresses, vehicle requirements and relevant driver details. The information requested depends on your enquiry and the checks needed for the particular hire.

Information is used to respond to enquiries, check availability and requirements, arrange an agreed hire and provide related customer support. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for your enquiry. The booking documents explain any additional requirements of the vehicle supplier or insurer.

Website requests and service providers

Web hosting and network services process technical information needed to deliver the website, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times. Information may be available to service providers acting on behalf of the business where needed to operate the website, arrange a hire or provide support.

Personal information is not sold or rented. Information may be shared with people and organisations involved in an agreed hire, such as the vehicle supplier or insurer, where necessary for that service. Disclosure may also be required by law or to protect legitimate rights.

Videos and external websites

The service pages contain embedded YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. Loading or playing a video connects your browser to Google/YouTube services. Those services process information under their own policies. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

The website may link to other sites. Their information handling is governed by their own policies. This website does not add advertising or audience-measurement scripts. Your browser settings can control cookies and other storage; some third-party video features may be affected by those settings.

Keeping and protecting information

Information associated with enquiries and hires is handled for the relevant business purpose and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us to discuss the records held for your enquiry, how long they are needed, or a request relating to your personal information. Appropriate steps are taken to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

Questions and updates

You can contact the service on 020 7099 5542 with privacy questions or to ask how to exercise rights that apply to your information. This policy may be updated when the website or its services change. The terms supplied for a particular hire remain separate from this website policy.
